Although it seems a little naive on our part to be discussing Union Of Pakistan and Afghanistan when we know that Pakistan itself was meant to be a union of states and the first question that we ought to ask ourselves is whether Pakistan itself has respected its covenant with Sindh,Balouchistan and Pushtunistan which were meant to be sovereign and autonomous units of Pakistan according to 1940 resolution!!??
When Sindhis,Balouchs and Pushtuns are themselves oppressed nations under Pakistan,I wonder what will happen to poor Afghanis and Kashmiris if they decide to join Pakistan(though it is very unlikely!)!!??
However,these intentions of Pakistani rulers and supporters of Pakistan reflect the extent to which the rulers of Pakistan wish to extend the boundaries of their country and it reflects their desire of EXPANSIONISM.It reflects their SAAMRAAJI(IMPERIALISTIC) designs for other countries of the region.
I would suggest Mr Khalid and his like-minded urge the rulers of their Piyara Pakistan to first grant the right of self-determination to Sindhis,Balouchs,Pushtuns and Sareikis before talking about union with other countries of the region.
Besides the people of Afghanistan have suffered decades of bloodshed and civil strife waged against them by Pakistani ISI and I do not believe they are that naive enough to favour a union with Pakistan. I would suggest that Mr Khalid and his like-minded stop dreaming during the broad daylight since this dream of their "imperialistic expansionism" will never materialise.
